LCD Coder is a special device used to program Rolan model remote controls.
When a remote is programmed via this device, a code is generated by LCD Coder specifically for that company and for that project. Therefore, no other company can provide a new remote to this system. When the end user wants to include a new remote in the system, they have to come to the company that coded that system and supply a new remote from that company.
