EMFD is a unit designed for safety and control purposes, operating with infrared signals as a receiver and a transmitter(transceiver structure). The products are designed to trigger the connected system and provide control if the signal path between the units is blocked by any obstacle.
The difference from standard beam sensors is that Dual Safety Beam Sensors have both a receiver and a transmitter on each card. The product provides higher safety than standard beam sensors, especially in places exposed to intense and vertical sunlight.
